Fees
We encourage you to discuss charges or request a written estimate before medical or surgical procedures are performed. We charge a trip fee of $30 to $65 per visit depending upon the appointment location in our service area. All of our services and products are priced comparably to other veterinary clinics in the Frederick/Gaithersburg corridor.
The trip fee is charged once per location, thus multiple pets in the same home are each charged an examination fee, but share the trip fee. Also, if your friends or neighbors wish to have their pets seen at the clinic while it is at your home, you can split the single trip fee with them! Please let us know if this is something you are interested in—we need to make sure we have enough time to properly examine each pet.
Previous clients of Dr. Wander may be eligible to receive an initial visit discount when they bring their complete medical records (including copies of the handwritten charts and laboratory results) to their first visit or have them faxed to HPMV prior to the first visit.
