Anesthesia & Outpatient Surgical Procedures
HPMV performs minor surgical procedures only. We believe that major surgeries, including abdominal surgeries such as spays in dogs, bladder surgeries, orthopedic and exploratory surgeries, benefit from at least 24-hours of monitored hospitalization with IV fluids. All pets undergoing surgical procedures must have IV catheters & IV fluid support, acceptable blood work/urinalysis results, and appropriate pain management medication. All pets are closely monitored while under anesthesia using state-of-the art monitoring systems. Below is a list of procedures that we are able to perform for your pet:
- ♥ Neuter surgery (cats & dogs)
- ♥ Spay surgery (cats only)
- ♥ Dental prophylaxis, tooth extraction, and dental x-ray
- ♥ Mass removals or biopsies
- ♥ Ear hematoma surgery
- ♥ Laceration repair
- ♥ Abscess surgery
- ♥ Tail or toe amputation
- ♥ Toe nail quick back (procedure to shorten the toe nails)
