Scheduling an Appointment
To schedule an appointment, please call (telephone numbers below) during business hours, or send us an email with your contact information. Because we are often driving, or focused on a current client, email is preferred. If you are a new client leaving a message or emailing us, please let us know your name, phone number, address, pet’s name & age, and your reason for contacting HPMV so that we can better assist you. Your address allows us to determine our availability and your pet’s needs permit us to allot the proper amount of time necessary for your visit.
PLEASE NOTE—Appointments are scheduled with an estimated arrival time of ±30 minutes. Our arrival time may vary depending upon traffic and the nature of the appointment prior to yours. We try our best to stay on schedule and will phone if we are running early or late. While you wait for your appointment, rest assured that your pet is comfortable in familiar surroundings (where you are able to accomplish things at home)!
Notes for a smooth visit
- ♥ Please have pets confined (primarily cats) to a carrier or bathroom at least ½ hour prior to our visit. There is a cat finding fee if we have to pry Fluffy out from underneath the boiler in the basement.
- ♥ We encourage you to discuss charges or request a written estimate before medical or minor surgical procedures are performed.
- ♥ For new clients, please have copies of your pet’s previous medical records (detailed physical examination records, not invoices, are preferred), laboratory testing, and x-rays so that we may provide appropriate continuing care.
- ♥ Payment is expected at the time of services rendered (cash, checks with valid ID, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express accepted).
